GT&T Female Fastball set for Sunday
The female version of the GT&T FastBall football knock-out competition will be played on
The Linden Female team during the March Pass of teams when GT&T FastBall was launched at the Mackenzie Sports Club Ground
Sunday, the final day of what has turned out to be a fantastic inaugural competition.
Four teams – Lethem, Georgetown, Linden and Bartica – will compete for the top prize of $100,000 apart from promotional credit that will go along with the attractive package.
While their will only be four teams in this aspect of the tournament, fans can look forward to some stimulating action on the distaff side with the players already bragging that they have already been mastering the innovative rules of Fatsball which they are all eager to showcase.
Linden will square off against Bartica in the first game at 15:00hrs which will be followed by the Lethem / Georgetown clash, the respective winners will later play in the final.
The men’s semi finals will be contested at 17:00hrs and 18:00hrs respectively which will be followed by a short ceremony prior to the final of both the male and female competitions as well as the dove off competition which has at stake up to $500,000.
