De holy books got a saying, “What does it profit a man to gain de whole world and lose his soul.” Is either some people ain’t got soul, ain’t got manners or just plain heartless. Dem want everything fuh demself.
Some good example is de Bs. Buy now everybody know who they are. All de Bs got pride, anger and greed. And according to dem boys, dem three words does destroy any human being.
One of dem suh greedy that he rent a place that a man pass down to he children after he dead. This greedy B then call de big B, Brazzy, fuh tek way de property from de children and then sell this greedy B. De matter in court.
Another B, not satisfy wid wha he already own after some big ones thief it from de people of this country, and give it to him, now trying fuh tek way other people property. Three of de property that he want deh just in de vicinity of de same place wha he get.
That is greediness. Dem boys seh that this greediness wha come from de top spread right across de country. It even spread to family.
Two man who eat out of de same pot, who sleep together and who pray together—in short, dem boys seh dem live like batty and po–. Dey always helping each other. One in de shoe business and de other in de cambio business.
De one in de cambio business always helping de one in de shoe business. According to dem boys, de cambio man see a property in Robb Street wha he would like fuh own. He discuss de thing wid he shoe partner.
De shoe partner tell he that he know de man who own de place and how he gun negotiate de sale. De cambio man was happy. Weeks pass and he keep telling de cambio man that he ain’t reaching de man, he ain’t getting through, hold tight.
He even borrow money from de cambio man fuh transact a business. According to dem boys, when de news buss out de shoe man buy de property fuh heself wid de cambio man money. What a thing to do a friend.
Talk bout selfishness and greed? He got to be a friend of all de Big Bs. Greed does mek people tun prostitute, then anger and pride does destroy dem.
