Dear Editor,
I am writing concerning a letter I saw in your newspaper last week, where the person was speaking about drivers being responsible for accidents on the roadways.
I personally believe that even though drivers are the one responsible for the loss of lives and injures, passenger are also responsible for what happens.
Persons fail to realize that they’re the ones in-charge since conductors and drivers depend on their money for survival.
Persons are complaining about drivers being on their phone while driving, conductors over packed minibuses, loud music and other matters that are bothering them while traveling.
Instead of standing up for their rights they sit and hope that police are going to do something about it.
A person has a right to decide if he wants to be comfortable or uncomfortable. When the Conductor tells them to “shiff down” they move and then complain about it later instead of saying no.
Persons need to be informed about their rights and to stop taking nonsense from those foolish drivers and conductors.
They need to stop waiting for the authorities to do something.
