When Singh made her appearance before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court she heard that on February 26, last, she drove motorcar, PLL 9996 in a manner dangerous to the public and caused the death of Nigel Genet.
The Prosecution told the court on the day of the incident about 17:00 hours, the accused drove the motor vehicle north along the western side of Camp Street. At the same time, the deceased was riding motorcycle CF 4132 south along the eastern side of Camp Street. He turned to cross the western carriageway.
