2 Million in cash & prizes up for the taking
The best acts in the business of Powerboat racing and Jet Skiing in Guyana are eagerly awaiting their chance to heat up the waters tomorrow when the Annual Summer Regatta organised by the Guyana Regatta Racers Club in association with the Ministry of Tourism comes off at Golden Beach.
The one day spectacle will see the likes of the Randy Belle, Clarence Belle, Dave Scott, Stephen Belle, Neil Gonsalves from the Pomeroon, Dave Young, Peter Belle, Monty Belle and Mark Fagundes among others battling in what is expected to be a breathtaking day of powerboat and Jet Ski races.
Powerboat races will be in the 25HP – 40HP, 75Hp – 90HP, 115HP – 200HP and 225Hp to unlimited categories. Over 2 Million dollars in cash and other incentives are up for grabs.
All the action tomorrow will be preceded by a big street jam at Modern Square tonight (Saturday night) organised by D&C Promotions at which all the competitors will be present along with Ministry of Tourism officials to interact with the fans.
