The Guyana senior men’s basketball team will be launching their campaign at the Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) Championships on Sunday against Antigua and Barbuda in their first game of the competition.
The team departed Guyana for the Bahamas on Thursday (yesterday). Here, Kaieteur Sport presents the profiles of the team and its management. Guyana last played at the CBC Championships four years ago with an entire US-based side in Puerto Rico.
However, the 2011 team is an entire local composition with the exception of US-based point guard, Karron McKenzie.
