Guyana got lots of promise. Dem foreign people use to tell de whole world that since before World War Two. After de war dem same people use to talk how Guyana got much promise.
Dem boys seh that dem people use to talk how Guyana is a promising country. Today is really true. Everybody promising everybody something. At first people didn’t know but de word spread that de government promising to give way things like contracts.
That is how Guyana got so many contractors. In order to enjoy de promise people had to be a contractor.
Now that elections coming, is more Guyana’s promise showing. People getting promise of jobs; some getting promise of house and land and some getting promise of overseas trips and overseas posting.
When de rainy season was threatening Rob-Ber promise that de rains gun flood de land. He promise de people to protect dem and tek nuff money from de Treasury. De Man above protect de people because he hold back de rain.
Now Guyana get a promise of cheap electricity. De promise of oil like it disappear because de CGX people can’t start drill yet. Guyana holds much promise, according to de investors in de oil industry.
Clement promise an end to crime but Long Hair tek lock up, get away and Suriname had to ketch he. In fact, is two time Suriname had to ketch de man. Guyana promise that he wouldn’t get away again but Suriname frighten fuh send he back.
Of course, FIP did promise to done de hydro road. Guyana really promising.
