Pauline Massay is the new President of the Lions Club of Central Demerara which recently installed a new executive for the fiscal year.
Massay took over the presidency from Sharon Letlow to become the second female to head the club.
John Marshall was elected first vice president; Cecil Persaud, second vice president; Lionel Chinian, Secretary; Dwarka Singh, Treasurer; Joseph Taylor, Den Chairman/Tamer, and Oswald Thierens was elected Twister.
The new Membership Director is Chetram Singh; the one-year Directors are Dennis Wilson, Ivor English and Rupert Hopkinson while the two-year directors are Hansel barrow, Annand Surijpaul, and Desmond Woon.
Incoming District Governor Lion Surujpaul installed the 16-member Board of District and also delivered the charge to the new board members.
