The Guyana Fire Service (GFS) proved too hot for their counterparts, Guyana Police Force (GPF) and the Guyana Prison Service (GPS) to handle when the second leg of the Ministry of Home Affairs Inter Agency Mixed Dominos competition for the Digicel Lien Trophy was contested at the GPS Sports Club on Friday evening last.
Most Valuable Player of the leg Allison Patterson chalked up 17 games to lead GFS to a winning 77 games three more than second placed GPS on 74 and Prisons bringing up the rear on 73 games in the closely contested leg.
The top marker for Police was Martin Pestano with 16 games the same amount for Prison’s leading marker, Beverly Critchlow.
Coordinator Ovid Glasgow said that the rivalry among the three entities has been heated but yet exciting and he is looking forward to the next leg which will be held on a date to be announced. The first leg of the competition was won by the Guyana Police Force. (Franklin Wilson)
