Following was has described as one of the best Easter Regatta’s, Barticians are gearing up for an even better Summer Regatta come July 24 at the Bartica Regatta Pavilion.
Plans have been steaming ahead and the organisers, Guyana Regatta Racers Club in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, they are promising an event that will be second to none with exciting power boat racing, jet skiing and canoe boat races planned.
This year’s event will be ushered in by a big street jam on Saturday July 23rd at Modern Square where there will also be a VIP section.With some of the Power Boat Racers already investing millions of dollars to upgrade their boast and engines for the Easter Regatta 2K11, fans can look forward to an even more breathtaking time at the one-day spectacle planned for the Summer.
Power boat events carded include those for 25 HP, 40HP, 75-90HP, 115-200HP and 225 to unlimited HP.
Corporate support for the events has been very encouraging to date with the following entities already on board.
