Every Sunday for quite a while de Waterfalls paper does feature somebody who dem think is a Special Person. That is a person who do something that mek other people feel comfortable.
Some of dem special people help deliver so many women that dem is godmother to half of Guyana; some teach people fuh read and write. Some do without fuh mek life easier fuh some people.
De other day dem boys sit down and dem start fuh think bout another round of Special person. One man suggest Henry de Yellow. Dem boys seh that is a good idea. He was de head when dem kill Fine Man and Skinny. He was de head when dem bruck up de gang that had Buxton bad.
Excellent idea except that he can’t fit pun de page.
Another man suggest Brazzy. He preside over de distribution of nuff land to rich people fuh sell to poor people. Dem boys seh that de recommendation is not such a good one because that gun tek over de whole paper and people want read other thing when de Sunday come.
Dem boys seh that a piece of time Castellani House had a gym fuh all dem Government people. It got to be that dem get fat off de land and dem bruck up all dem machine.
But dem boys seh that dem have people who think that dem special in more ways than one. One Minister does mek sure that he deh near nuff woman and he does tell dem that he too hot to handle.
And is a nice ego trip except that when he seh suh dem woman does tell he that he too old and cold to hold.
Talk half. Lef half.
