Digicel, A Ally and Sons, R & S Supermarkets, Home Designs presents gate prizes
All systems are in place for the much anticipated Berbice Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inter-Agency Softball cricket Tournament, Fun Day and Exhibition cricket games which are now set for tomorrow, Caricom Day, at the Albion Community Centre ground.
In the interim, four more Corporate Entities and partners have come on board and joined hands in presenting fabulous gate prizes to make the day a grand and memorable event. According to chief organizer Mr. Imran Saccoor, entrance fee is $100 and every patron / supporter that enters the venue will be eligible to participate in the drawing that will take place during the activity.
First prize is a Black Berry – compliments of Digicel Guyana Limited; second prize of a Toshiba DVD Player has been presented by A Ally and Sons General Store; the third Prize of an adult Bicycle is being presented by Home Designs and Engineering Services, R & S Shopping Centre is sponsoring the fourth prize of a BMX Bicycle. There will also be three cash prizes all compliments of the Chamber.
Other Corporate entities and organizations that have given support to the tournament includes, Banks DIH, GT & T, Demerara Bank Limited, Republic Bank Limited , New Building Society, NM Services, Ansa McAl, NCN Berbice, Oldendorff Carriers, One Guyana, Guysuco, Nand Persaud and Company Limited, Demerara Distillers Limited, Danzies Auto Sales, Bhivar Computers and Metro amongst others.
The winning trophy of the Tournament has been sponsored by Peter Lewis of Associated Construction Services, while the Runner is sponsored by Digicel.
The day’s activities is expected to get started at 10:00hrs and promises to offer much thrills and excitement as patrons will have the opportunity to see secular professionals from various fields including bankers, managers, lawyers, pre-sellers, cashiers, clerks all battling for supremacy.
Musical entertainment is expected to include a Live Band and Stereo sounds to spice up the day’s proceedings. Entertainment for the children and other patrons is also guaranteed.
A number of the country’s top cricketers will be in action as Albion Community Centre take on Rose Hall Town Gizmos and Gadget in a 10/10 hard ball encounter under floodlights.
Also a featuring is a 10/10 Soft Ball exhibition game between the GT&T winning and runner teams Wolf Warriors and Celebrity Times.
