Tapeball cricket fans are in for a treat when the Kares Engineering Ten10 tournament bowls off on Sunday, July 3 at the Georgetown Cricket Club, Bourda at 10:00hrs. There will be a formal launching ceremony which will be followed by two potentially exciting exhibition matches (male and female) while patrons will also be introduced to the rules of the competition.
Teams for the various zones are currently being compiled while the competition fixtures will be published next Thursday.
This inaugural tournament has seen an overwhelming response from teams with over 900 registered. Fans can brace themselves for an exhilarating competition.
Brainstreet U-15 cricket
resume this weekend
The Brainstreet Under-15 cricket competition organised by the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) is set to resume this weekend after a break due to rain.
The matches to be played are as follows:
Saturday 2nd July – GCC vs DCC ‘B’ at DCC; QC vs Transport at GNIC; Everest vs Police-Ladies at MYO
Sunday 3rd July – QC vs DCC ‘A’ at GNIC
Monday 4th July – GCC vs Police-Ladies at GNIC
