GOA host successful BMX Meet for World Olympic Day 2K11

The Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) through the International Olympic Committee (IOC) held a number of events in observance of World Olympic Day 2011. National Cycling Coach Hassan Mohamed organised a successful BMX Meet that was held at the National Park on Saturday last.
Randy Haynes won two of the five events with Raymond Perez Jr., Christopher Griffith and Jamal Arthur wining one each.
Following are the results of the races:
BMX Boys Open – 3 Laps
1st Randy Haynes
2nd Hamza Eastman
3rd Juilo Melville
Time: 10 minutes 03.21 seconds
BMX Boys 6 to 9 yrs – 2 Laps
1st Jamal Arther
2nd Denzil Huntly
3rd Tarun Garbarran
Time: 7 minutes 04.30 seconds
BMX Boys 9 to 12 yrs – 3 Laps
1st Rayman Perez
2nd Keon Harris
3rd Rishide Ceres
Time: 10 minutes 03 seconds
BMX Boys 12 to 14 yrs – 3 Laps
1st Christopher Griffith
2nd Deoraj Garbarran
