The Twilight Masters Football Club will host the Barbados Masters All Star Team in a Two-Game Goodwill series next month aimed at fostering camaraderie between the Masters of the two nations.
According to a release from the club, the games are fixed for Friday July 15 and Sunday July 17 at the famous Georgetown Football Club Ground.
Coordinator of the series is former national player Gordon ‘Ultimate Warrior’ Brathwaite with another former national, Michael ‘Mickey’ Layne as assistant. Training for the local players is expected to commence tomorrow at the Carifesta Sports Complex Ground from 10:00 to 12:00hrs.
The Squad is as follows: Andrew Bright, Michael Layne, Cary Jacques, Garfield Shepherd, Dexter Rodney, Mark Critchlow, Dane Kendall, Ola Pedro, Dion Barnwell, Anthony Stanton, Dwayne Rogers, Terrence Wills, Orlando Mc Cleod, Conrad Parris, Gavin Gibbons, Peter Lashley, Earl O’Neal, Lionel Grimes, Julian Masdammer, Sherwayne Grimes, Terrence Lewis, Eon Dooker, Terrence Plummer, Brian Joseph, Robert Danjou, Kevin Archer, Whitney Forte, Shawn Daniels, Abdula Hamid, Phillip Rowley, Dexter MaCaulay, Dexter Layne, Lloyd Smith and Neville Wiltshire.
Coaching the squad are Joseph ‘Bill’ Wilson and Vibert ‘Durdey’ Butts with Seon Erskine as Physical Trainer and Colin Howard, Manager.
