Fifteen members of the Japan Karate Association/World Federation Guyana winged out Tuesday to attend the Annual Japan Karate Association Training Camp and Tournament in the United States.
Ms. June-Ann Eastman, Pharmaceutical Manager of Geddes Grant presents the products to Chief Instructor Sensei Christopher Chaves while some members of the touring party look on.
Before the team’s departure Seven Seas through its local distributors Geddes Grant made a presentation of pharmaceutical products to the karatekas.
Team manager Shankar Singh said that the Camp and Tournament will take place from June 9-12 in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the USA.
Singh said that the Camp will attract participants from Panama, Mexico and several states in the USA. Panama hosted the last Camp and Tournament last year, Singh added.
The delegation include Chief Instructor Sensei Christopher Chaves, Marvin Singh, Kristalia Chaves, Marlon George, Jennifer Cyrus, Randolph Singh, Uditt Jagdeo, Dinesh Braaham, Shermon Kyte, Deoram Ramdas, Shaqueel Amin, Ganpat Sahai and Rachel Reman will serve as chaperon while Shankar Singh is the manager.
Meanwhile, Pharmaceutical Manager of Geddes Grant, June-Ann Eastman said that her company was pleased to offer assistance to the team and wished the karatekas best wishes for a successful tour.
