The lawlessness has reached a proportion that is unprecedented. Squatters are bent on taking possession of what is not theirs, but fuelled by the good nature of the society they are going to make a run, even to the point of challenging authority.
The police are going to intervene, but there is no will given that even there they lack leadership.
The situation would turn violent with the owner of the property resorting to unconventional methods. It is this that would lead to violence, because the people who would challenge the squatters are themselves people who run on the wrong side of the law.

There have been some silly accidents and with the rains there will be more. A car with an inebriated driver is going to be speeding when another would suddenly stop. The wet conditions would not allow for a fast stop so there would be a collision.
What would follow would be shocking. The driver of the front car is not usually known for his adherence to the rules of law and this is going to lead to an ugly incident. Passersby would avert physical violence.

There is going to be a windfall for a poor Guyanese. The lotto is going to pay. And the prowlers would be out there seeking information on the winner.
