The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport/ National Sports Commission in association with the Rising Star Track Club will be holding a 5km Independence Road Race and Walk tomorrow for Seniors, Juniors, Masters and Walkers commencing at 16:00hrs.
The route
Race starts in front of Courts Guyana Inc., Main Street, proceeds north along Main Street to Pegasus Hotel, turns right into Main Street, and continues to the starting point.
The course will be done twice ending in front of Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Main Street.
This activity will last for approximately 1 hour and will be witnessed by Hon. Dr. Frank Anthony, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Mr. Neil Kumar, Director of Sport among other Government and Sports Officials.
