The Guyana Netball Association (GNA) has elected Mrs. Shanomae Pearce-Baptiste to fill the position of Secretary. Mrs. Pearce-Baptiste is currently employed at the Bank of Nova Scotia and is a member of the Emanie Netball Club.
Pearce-Baptiste, who replaces the late Shondel Samaroo is no stranger to the sport as she has twice captained the Senior National Netball Team and is a current member on the Senior National Team.
As one of the founders of the Emanie Netball Club who on May 24, 2011 will be celebrating their 14th Anniversary, Shanomae has served as Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer and will be a great asset to the GNA.
