Golfers will tee of in the Independence Day Medal Play golf tournament sponsored by Demerara Life Group of Companies today at Lusignan Club. Club Captain Brian Glasford said the players are eager to compete in the tournament sponsored by Demerara Life Group, one of the oldest insurance company’s in Guyana and a regular sponsor of golf locally.
Among the players expected to compete are Fazil Haniff, Troy Cadogan, Avinash Persaud, Mohanlall Dinanauth, Avinda Kishore, Colin Ming, Mark Lashley, Brian Hackett, Ronald Bulkan, Andre Cummings, Mike Gayadin, William Walker, Chatterpaul Deo, Muntaz Haniff, Munaff Arjune, Bholaram Deo, Maurice Solomon, Francois Montour, Albert Russell, Rita Heikens, Geert Heikens, Esau Shamshudin, Dr. Ram Singh, Carlos Adams, Clifford Reis and Albert Semple.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers with the best net, Nearest to the Pin and the best gross.
Executives of Demerara Life Group of Companies have been invited to assist in the presentation of prizes.
Tee off time is 09:15 hours by shot gun start.
