Nuff people wake up yesterday morning and feel good. Dem was alive and dem believe that dem woulda dead during de night. Bar-Rat invite all dem leaders from de Caribbean to come to Guyana and enjoy life pun a resort fuh de last.
When de day break dem get bake and salt fish, pepperpot, cassava bread and bush tea. Guyana put out de best. De only thing it didn’t put out was dancing girls because people woulda talk. But is that break up de meeting because by midday dem was back in town.
Dem had a last supper de night before and some of dem even pray. Bar-Rat tell dem that dem had to pray in three religion because dem was in Guyana. Irfaat do de Muslim prayer while Killer Lall do de Hindu prayer. Bishop Three Edghill do de Christian prayer.
But dem got wicked people. Somebody wuk obeah pun Chris Ram and de man crash. He talk too much and let out nuff secret. Anyhow he still alive and he promise to talk even more.
And dem boys notice that even GPL refuse to blackout people. De rat wha cause de last one dead and nobody coulda find another rat fuh do de wuk.
Now dem boys looking forward to de national awards. Bar-Rat gun name de awardees and Uncle Glenn getting one fuh dedicated pursuit of corruption in government circles. Dem boys seh that he got to collect he own in private.
