Several matches in competitions run by the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) will be contested this weekend.
Fixtures from the Carib Beer/Friends of Cricket Heroes Cup 1st Division and Brainstreet Under-15 Cricket competitions are set for today and tomorrow:
Carib Beer/Friends of Cricket Heroes Cup 1st Division Cricket –
Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May, 2011 starting: 09:30hrs

GDF vs Everest CC at Camp Ayanganna – Umpires: Cyril Garnath & Mario Nichols
Meanwhile, the Georgetown Cricket Association has postponed all but one of its scheduled matches in the Brainstreet Under—15 Cricket Competition for today and tomorrow.
This situation is due to the Guyana Cricket Board commencing the Demerara Inter Sub- Association Under-15 Cricket Tournament tomorrow. The only scheduled match in the Brainstreet Under-15 competition that will be played is the GYO vs St. Stanislaus College game at GYO.
Both teams have indicated their willingness to play without their players who are selected to represent the GCA in the GCB’s tournament, henceforth the fixture being honoured.
