A recent fire at a home on East Coast Demerara is posing more questions than answers. Fingers are pointing especially since a child died.
This issue is going to rip the family apart and the police are not going to do much by way of investigation. However, word does get around and someone is going to tell a friend about something that went horribly wrong.

A road accident is never far away and another is going to occur in the city. People are going to get seriously hurt although they were not in the vehicles involved. Already there are more accidents than this same time last year and the numbers are going to reach alarming proportions.

I spoke about the man falling from a building. This time there will be the collapse of a section of a building due to faulty construction.
The problem with constructions is the rush to make money. In one case, a man who promised to construct homes is going to find himself in the hot seat because the police will eventually get him.
However, this will only be a part of the solution. There will be the question of reimbursement.

Beware of another fire, this time on the outskirts of the city. Arson would be the cause but people are going to remain quiet because they will say that they are minding their own business.
