North Georgetown female team won by a wide margin in latest action played on Thursday at the Carifesta Sports Complex.
North Georgetown hammered East Ruimveldt by 5 goals to nil. Althea Holligan scored a hat-trick – 23seconds into the contest, the 11th and 20th minutes, while Kenesha Stewart had a double in the 5th and 6th minutes.
East Ruimveldt improved on their previous performance, missing a number of chances, had they capitalised on those opportunities the score line would have been different. To note, they played the entire game with 9 persons.
The competition continues today at the GFC ground with a double header. From 09:00hrs East Ruimveldt play Tutorial and at 10:15hrs Lodge Secondary oppose North Georgetown.
More play is fixed for Wednesday May 18 at the Carifesta Sports Complex at 15:30hrs with Christ Church facing Queens College in a female encounter.
The boys will play at the NIS ground also from 15:30 hrs with St Georges taking on Tucville.
