The National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) yesterday opened a number of bids, however, none were submitted for a tender for the supply of computer-based training software and online evaluation for the One Laptop Per Family (OLPF) programme.
Meanwhile, for the Ministry of Local Government, four bidders made varied submissions for the provision of security services for the ten administrative regions.

Strategic Action Security Ltd also placed a bid for all ten regions on an annual basis. | $955,029,800 |
Homeland Security and Domestic Services placed a bid per month for all ten regions. | $82,567,866 |
Bids were opened for the installation of street lights along the Essequibo Coast Highway from Queenstown to Taymouth Manor and Hampton Court to Walton Hall. And another bid was opened for the installation of street lights along the Essequibo Coast Highway from Supenaam to Good Hope and Suddie (Belfield to Johanna Cecelia).
The engineer’s estimates for both projects are $24,863,092 and the bids which are also the same are:

There were bids for the procurement of drugs and supplies for the Ministry of Health. The bids submitted were:
