Play in the inaugural Scotiabank / Pepsi School Academy Football Competition continues tomorrow with a double header at two venues, starting from 15:30 hrs.
Over at the Carifesta Sports Complex ground, Tucville Secondary square-off against Queens College in a female encounter, while at the NIS ground, Christ Church takes on St. George’s in a male fixture.
Then on Thursday, one game is slated to be played from 15:30 hrs, at Carifesta Sports Complex
North Georgetown Secondary will engage East Ruimveldt in a female matchup.
Meanwhile, results of games played last Saturday at the NIS ground are as follows:
Game 1: Lodge defeated Tutorial by 8-1.
On target for the winners were Nevon Haynes – 14th, 26th and 36th minutes of play, Kareem Johnson – 19th, Mike Thorn – 23rd and 33rd, Kareem Sanmogan – 56th and Stephan Mc Lean – 70th.
The lone response for the losers came off the boots of Keyron Thompson in the 65th min.
Game 2: East Ruimveldt defeated North Georgetown by 2-1.
East Ruimveldt goals were scored by Azariel Davis 50th min and Jamal Pedro 64th. North Georgetown goal scorer was Liberian born Tiatum Tiatum in the 20th min.
