Dear Editor,
Well it is clear that the PPP is suffering from grand spates of mental delusions. On April 29th, 2011, there were between 80-100 persons on a protest line advocating against bad governance in Guyana against the PPP presidential candidate Donald Ramotar and President Jagdeo.
This number was verified by the journalists on the ground including a Jamaican journalist who has no vested interest in cooking the numbers. However, what is more troubling is why the lies are springing from the PPP press release?
Lie 1 – Protestors were paid
Fact – none of the AFC protestors were paid and based on my conversation with the protestors from the PNC and the Benschop Group, they said they all came willingly. I think Donald Ramotar is mixing up the protestors in front of Club Tobago with Kwame boys who protested in front of the AFC head office for G$50,000 a shot.
Lie 2 – there were 600 people in the room.
Fact – the media person in the Hall subsequently told me that there were between 250-275 persons in the Hall. A PPP political activist told me that 250 persons were too much but I will give the PPP the benefit of the doubt and say 300. True Marxist propaganda; double the number, baffle the people but we had our AFC members inside to observe and 600 persons, is one big fat lie.
As an observation, the AFC engaged a paying audience on a cold winter night in February and got more than 300 persons to attend. The PPP with free entry on a hot Spring night lost their transport to Richmond Hill to the AFC.
Lie 3 – the AFC has a “cack eye” economic policy.
Fact – Donald has created the mental constructs to make his existence bearable and thus he now has a well-established reputation for dabbling in personal attacks (Ravi Dev, now Ramjattan). However, it is about time the people realise why he is ducking the debate at UG.
Many persons who were not PPP went to that Hall to hear how different his policies were from Jagdeo’s only to be confronted with vile and nasty personal comments on his political adversaries. These elections are not about Granger, Ramjattan or Ramotar. These elections are about which team has the best policies for Guyana.
Well let me put the PPP on notice; Ramjattan is an intellectual giant who has assembled a world class global team that is advising him on public policy.
Ramjattan is not interested in who has “cack eye or bald head or big belly”, he is singularly focused on hearing the people’s issues and challenging his technical team to continuously development, a superior menu of policy measures which will alleviate or mitigate the people’s issues.
Anyone can read the policies that Ramjattan and Holder are pushing at www.voteafc.com. They have nothing to hide and our Action Plan is further being refined after incorporating new concerns of the people. The people have told us clearly they are not happy with the PPP’s inability to create jobs, fight crime and their system of Governance. The people has re-emphasised to the AFC that they are not happy with the level of corruption under the PPP and the moral decadence over the last 18 years with children as little as 11 years now subject to sexual abuse in a system that does not deliver justice to the people.
I am extremely disappointed that Mr. Ramotar failed to raise his game to a level where he can tell the people what he is going to do for Guyana. Saying Ramjattan has “cack eye” or Granger has “blood on his hands” will not put bread on the people’s table Mr. Ramotar? Mr. Ramotar has now well established his intellectual pedigree as one of the principle architects that lead in the “bruking up” of GuySuCo. The fact is clear that he could not effectively strategise for a corporation. Is he therefore good for Guyana at the highest level? How will he clean up the mess being left behind by the Jagdeo regime)?
The Ramotar and Jagdeo show in New York is a clear indication of how the PPP plans to run Guyana if the people allow them to win; with threats, deceit, lies and massive corruption. They did not even allow the press to ask one question. What are they afraid of?
I have been reliably informed that there is an orchestrated campaign on to pin corruption on the Indo-Guyanese AFC leaders at US$50,000 an allegation. So my advice to any failing businessman in Guyana, please surrender to the paying cabal and do the video tape and sign the press statements, you will be paid US$50,000.
I, Sasenarine Singh have to only person to account to; God Almighty and he know the truth. Political threats are totally irrelevant to me, since I am prepared to give up my life if it results in Guyana being made free. My mission is to fight for a situation where the economic divide between the rich and the poor can be improved, where there are jobs for the young and the old, where the disposable income of more of the people improves, where public contracts are tendered for in a transparent manner and can be won by the most cost efficient and competent contractors regardless of race or political persuasion, where criminals are arrested and dealt with accordingly, where a small man can have a vision of one day making something better for himself and his family, where the economic pie of the state is shared to more people not just the ruling cabal.
My mission is to ensure there are systems in place to deal with rapist of 11-year-old girls in the harshest manner and male predators and pedophiles who shall have no place in high offices, but condemned to the dustbins of history.
