Dear Editor,
It seems as though this regime can do and say whatever it likes and everything is just pushed under the carpet or passed off as nothing happened, no matter how serious it is, especially to its supporters. What measure was taken when a clear case of incitation concerning that monument at N0. 63 Beach was highlighted?
What measure was taken when the head of state behaved like an unlearned man and made those ridiculous and horrible statements as he addressed his supporters at Babu John?
What is Mr. Kesh Kumar speaking about when he was so quick to point out the high level jobs held by Afro Guyanese “stalwarts” in the offices of this regime? Under the caption, “Is this another mo fiah slow fiah call?” I believe the word stalwarts should be replaced with the words highly paid robots especially when it comes to the Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC).
You cannot speak for us Mr. Kumar, you are on the better side of the fence and may I remind you, we the lower class of people including you, are all tools , weapons and pawns in this dirty game of politics.
You, as many other supporters are being used to cover Mr. Jagdeo’s not so protective skin when he demits office that is why he did what he did. He doesn’t care for you, me or any one; he is just creating hostility between us as his defence. Anyone who deliberately sets one against the other so open and callously, knowing fully well the devastation that could occur if persons allow themselves to be used so evilly should be rejected.
If we continue on this path of destruction, blinding our eyes to the evil things executed by this or any other regime in future because of race, then the slush we are so deeply buried in will eventually take us all out in death.
I condemn the recent statement made by the man from ACDA.
Sir, even though I share and understand your frustration and pain this is not the way forward. We have already lost too many young men, those who were massacred, under this macabre regime, we have lost generations.
Mr. Jagdeo and his henchmen have already constructed their forts, when the bullets fly it wouldn’t be able to penetrate the gates of those men, it’s us who would bear the brunt of everything, we have to find a more peaceful way through this gruelling ordeal.
I close by saying to Mr. Juan Edgill and Mr. Gilbert, those so called men of the cloth. God has on his spectacles looking real hard, very hard at both of you. I sincerely hope he sees what I am seeing.
And finally, Mr. Edgill whatever action is taken against this man make sure it is equally meted to Mr. Jagdeo.
Dani Grenardo
