Exhibitors display safety equipment and health related material at the OHS Exhibition hosted by Banks DIH Limited at Thirst Park.
Banks DIH Ltd recently hosted a one-day exhibition at Thirst Park in observance of Occupational Safety and Health Month which is currently ongoing under the theme -”OSH Management Systems: A tool for continual Improvement”.
The exhibitors included the Ministry of Labour and Human Services, Help and Shelter, Associated Industries Ltd. (AINLIM), Industrial Safety Supplies Inc., International Pharmaceutical Agency (IPA), and Banks DIH Ltd.
George McDonald, Assistant Managing Director/Marketing Director of Banks DIH, in brief remarks at the opening, highlighted the importance of the OSH in the workplace, according to a statement from the beverage company.
He lauded the staff of the entity’s Environmental Department for hosting the event and expressed gratitude to the agencies that supported the programme.
Banks DIH also hosted a symposium earlier this month that attracted representatives from DIDCO, IPA, Edward B. Beharry Group of Companies, National Milling Company (NAMILCO), Ministry of Labour, Rentokil/Initial, Continental Group of Companies and the General Workers’ Union as part of its month-long programme of activities to mark OSH Month.
