Speaker of the National Assembly, Ralph Ramkarran, on Wednesday, announced Doreen Jacobis as the Chairman of the Indigenous Peoples Committee, after she was nominated by her colleagues and secured the position without any opposition.
Also, the Vice-Chairman post was handed to Yvonne Pearson, Toshao of St. Danny’s Tapakuma, after she obtained the position in the same manner as Jacobis did without any opposition.
