Guyana / New York Veterans in town for four matches

The Guyana / New York Veterans Football team comprising a number of former national and First Division players are in the country to play four matches against local teams as part of the Easter holidays.
The touring squad will be led by former national mid-fielder and Western Tigers player Christopher Giles and also include: former national Captain Ken Gibbs, Rickland Hutson, Nigel Robertson, David LaRose, Linden Angel, Nigel Allan, Paul Carrington, Rodwell Paul, Rickford Paulsingh, Michael Joseph, Sam Bunbury, Raul Hensford, Eon Waldron, Richard Hing, Eon Cumberbatch, Carl DeFlorimonte, Raymond Floy, Omotola Goulding, Kurt Daniels, Noel Sergeant, Kester Darlington, Dirk Willis, Fitzroy Warner, Junior Walker, Paul Browne, Timothy Lawrence, Elvis Glasgow, Colin Goodridge, Nigel Wilkie and Howard Beaton.
The visitors open their tour against Rasta Patriots on Saturday at GFC and then travel to Linden to engage Linden Veterans at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground on Wednesday, April 27, before they return to tackle GFC at GFC on Friday, April 29 and wound up their tour with a game against Berbice Veterans on Tuesday, May 3 in the Ancient County.
