Neal and Massy Group of Companies yesterday showed support for Service Coordinator, Julian Edmonds, who is attached to AINLIM, and who was named to perform the functions of National Coach with Guyana’s Junior CARIFTA Games team.
Edmonds, who is responsible for the success of several prominent junior athletes, sprinters especially, including Stephan James and Neisa Allen, will make his debut as National Coach in Jamaica for the marquee regional junior event this weekend.
“One of our mottos is giving back to the communities in which we operate and we decided to support Mr. Edmonds in serving Guyana as Coach for the upcoming CARIFTA Games,” Human Resources Manager at Neal and Massy, Faye Bispham stated.
Edmonds is expected to lead a six-member athletics team into the championships. Up to press time yesterday, the Athletics Association of Guyana was still hopeful that all the athletes will be travelling despite Chavez Ageday’s muscle strain on Sunday.
