The feature event saw the seven animals leaving the gate in an event break with Fairly Landing, Little Panie, Marathon Man and Night Crescendo taking up the front running, with Prince Charming picking its stride in the bunch. No sooner had the animals hit the back stretch that the Jamaican Jockey, Andron Findley, aboard Prince Charming decided that he will wait no longer as Prince Charming known for its tremendous speed decided to open up. Putting himself in the perfect perch, Findlay decided to let the animal go giving it full reign as it set a searing pace down the back stretch. By then the field was wide open.
Into the home stretch Prince Charming was still gathering speed and with Jockey Findley showing his brilliance in the stirrups, the animal was able to romp home by about eight lengths. The Gap was second ahead of Frankie’s Sweetheart.

Once again it was the brilliance of Jockey Andron Findley on the home run that made the difference. Bobs Fortune opened a sizable lead with the other animals at its mercy. However, it was the brilliance of Findlay that left the pack and guided his charge with tremendous speed for a close victory and the $150,000 money and trophy compliments of The Sheriff Racing stable. Bobs Fortune, South Sea and Stylish Line had to content with the other placings.
