Universal and General Supplies sponsors National Park cycle race meet

National Cycling Coach Hassan Mohamed MS has organized the 7th Annual Cycle Race Programme on Saturday April 16 at National Park Circuit starting at 09:00hrs and sponsored by Universal and General Supplies.
The day’s programme will feature races for boys and girls of various ages, along with events for veterans, juveniles, and the schoolboys and novices feature race.
The full programme is:
12 to 14 yrs Boys & Girls – 3 Laps
Veteran O- 60 yrs – 5 Laps
Veteran U – 50 yrs – 5 Laps Veteran O – 50 yrs – 5 Laps Juveniles – 10 Laps
Upright Cyclists – 5 Laps
BMX Boys 6 to 9 yrs – 2 Laps
BMX Boys 9 to yrs – 3 Laps
BMX Boys 12 to 14 yrs – 3 Laps
BMX Boys Open – 3 Laps
School Boys & Invitation – 35 Laps
Manager/Director of Universal and General Supplies, Mr. Shameer Baksh will distribute the prizes to the winning participants.
Alonzo Greaves is the defending champion having won last year’s feature race in 1Hr/28Mins/37Secs. Juvenile department was won by Kurt La Rose in 26Mins/38Secs.
