Inks contract with Seattle Sounders
The President, Executive and membership of the Pele Football Club have sent a congratulatory message to Gregory ‘Jackie Chan’ Richardson on his return to Major League Soccer in the United States of America. Following is the full text of the message.
I am feeling very happy and proud today in congratulating you on behalf of Pele FC, on your return to playing in the MLS, following your new signing with the Seattle Sounders for the current season. I got the good news a few days ago that you are back to the “big league”, the MLS an upward move from the North American Soccer League (NASL) with Carolina Railhawks. You really deserved this second chance Gregory, having left these shores for that destiny over two years ago as a historic achievement for this country.
With your skills, hard work and dedication, our desire is that you maintain the professional discipline and intelligence required in achieving great success at this level. All Pele FC, executive, players and fans are proud of you and we wish you well.
Personally I am very happy to see you getting another opportunity in your career and life. This time take it with both feet body and mind. I pray God Bless you and give you perfect health and everything that you need to succeed at this time and in the future.
