Teen disappears after leaving school
Missing: Dawn Stanton
Sixteen-year-old Dawn Stanton has been missing since Saturday and relatives are appealing for information about her whereabouts.
Stanton, also known as ‘Tafo’, lives with her grandparents at Sand Road, Soesdyke. She disappeared shortly after leaving classes at the Dookie Private School.
According to a relative, some of the teen’s friends said that she left school at around 11:00 hours on Saturday.
Asked if she might have run away, the relative said that Stanton had no problems at home, and that her belongings are not missing.
They have checked with the teen’s close friends but have got no clues about her possible whereabouts.
When she was last seen, Dawn Stanton was attired in a pair of black jeans, a purple top and black sandals.
