A Siberien (Old England) woman said she is now scared to death after a man unsuccessfully tried to break down the door to her home, and later shot out the windows to a vehicle that was parked in the yard.
The damaged vehicle GFF 9947 belongs to the woman’s reputed husband, Sukraj Fredericks.
According to Anita Walton, shortly after midnight on Sunday, she was awakened by loud banging on the door. She said her husband then got up and braced the door, for almost half an hour as the banging continued.
“Then the person run down the step, and we hear gunshots. Later when we look out we notice the vehicle shoot up. Right now I fearful fuh me life; I think I gon go and cool out li’l bit by me mother or something, because Sukraj does hardly be home. I just thankful he was home last night.”
Hearing the gunshots, friends and neighbours, including Sukraj’s father, Archilus Fredericks, ran out of their homes to see what the commotion was about. But by then the perpetrators had disappeared.
The elder Fredericks said his son, Sukraj, recognized the person who shot up his vehicle, and claimed it was his own nephew, Orlando Thom, who is currently wanted by the police.
Fredericks said he is baffled as to why his own nephew would want his son dead. He also pointed out that Thom is out to get both of his sons, who are his cousins.
“This boy Lando (Orlando) had a lot of opportunities. He was a national swimmer, he represented this country at Olympics; he visited countries some of we could only dream about.
“Now look at how he living, walking round the place with AK47 and Uzi. This guy even got grenades. I don’t know how he get so- and heaven knows where he get the weapons.” Fredericks said that Thom turned up at his house one day, fully dressed in military garb, and carrying a big gun. “When I asked him what he was doing with the weapon, he said that was for his protection, that he had to be prepared.”
Almost in tears the man pointed out that persons in the community no longer feel safe, as no one knows who might be the next target.
Kidnapping connection
Orlando Thom was recently implicated in a ‘kidnapping’ where a resident of Nottinghamshire was abducted and subsequently released unharmed.
Sources claimed that the person that was kidnapped was not the intended victim, but a cousin of his was. That cousin, Kemraj Fredericks, is the brother of Sujraj Fredericks. Police later issued a wanted bulletin for Orlando Thom.
He has however so far managed to elude them.
Relatives and friends of Orlando Thom are appealing to him to turn himself over to the police, before it is too late.
