National Fullbore vice captain Dylan Fields won Sunday’s Recorded Shoot at the Timehri Rifle ranges dropping only two points out of a possible 105 points in sunny conditions with winds at times gusting and varying in speed directions.
Fields recorded 103 points with six V-bulls with scores of 34.0 at 300 yards, a possible 35.4 at 500 and 34.2 at 600 yards.
Second place went to Ransford Goodluck who edged out national captain Mahendra Persaud by more V-bulls after both shooters recorded 100 points.
Goodluck had six V-bulls while Persaud secured three.
Former National champion Lennox Braithwaite now on the comeback trail shot 99:04 with Dane “Spooky” Blair finishing fifth with 96:4 and Richard Fields also with 96:4, but Blair edged him on a countback.
In ‘O’ Class, Charles Deane turned the tables on Lt. Col. Terry Stuart with 83 points and 4 V-bulls with Stuart recording 82:3 in a close battle in the division.
