Guyanese cricketers continued to turn in impressive performances in the Trinidad and Tobago 2-day Championship Cricket League.
In a match between Aranguez and Cavaliers of Tobago, Cavaliers won the toss and choose to bat were bowled out for 161 with Deon Ferrier capturing 5-45 and Kellon Carmichael 3-43 bowling for Aranguez.
In reply Aranguez reached 227 all out with Michael Browne 79, Safraz Lalloo 32 not out.
Carmichael, who batted at number 9 due to a fever, was not out on 20 at the end.
Batting a 2nd time, Cavaliers were bowled out for 127 with Ferrier 5-19 and Carmichael 4-23, being among the wickets.
Aranguez chasing 53 for victory were 54-1 with Michael Brown making a quickfire 33 not out.
