We have been speaking about the accidents on the roads as though these things are avoidable. Indeed they are, but in increasing numbers irresponsible people are being provided with the necessary licences. There was one the other day in which a young boy died. There was another in which no one died but only because fate determined that they should live.
There is going to be another along a roadway that is never busy. The driver would be complacent not realizing that there is always a moment when the fates determine that the untoward would happen.
The crash would be horrific and the injuries not so severe. However, most of the damage would be done to the vehicles.

The rains have made the rivers swell their banks. Boaters would normally enjoy this. However the excess water on the land causes debris to enter the waterways to the detriment of small craft. It is this that is going to cause an accident.
A boat is going to strike a piece of flotsam and the boat would take in water. The occupants would have to do a lot to save themselves.
**
Gunshots are going to ring out. People are going to find a body. The police are going to say that they have no motive but the people will know that it would be related to a recent drug bust in Jamaica.
