Dear Editor,
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) coordinates the Caribbean’s response to climate change. Officially opened in August 2005, the Centre is the key node for information on climate change issues and on the region’s response to managing and adapting to climate change.
Last month, at the Twenty-Second Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM, leaders reinforced the urgent need to address climate change in the region and requested that the Centre facilitate and coordinate major initiatives for the Region.
We wish to collaborate more regularly with your agency to provide information on a wide coverage of climate change activities in the Region, and on the Centre’s efforts to support and strengthen the Caribbean’s capacity to address climate change.
You can contact me directly for information from the Centre (see contact information below). It would be very useful if you could provide the name of a contact person at your agency that we can liaise with.
On behalf of the Executive Director of CCCCC, Dr. Kenrick Leslie, I would like to thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.
