Only one game of a scheduled double header was played on Tuesday in this year’s Edward ‘Screw’ Richmond Memorial Schools Football Competition which continued in Linden.
In the solitary encounter, Linden Foundation Secondary inflicted a crushing 6-0 win over Marcia Craig Educational Institute with Royan Ferrier (15th, 29th) and Ravin Gibbons (17th, 22nd) netting a brace apiece, while Paul Trotman (35th) and Ricardo Estwick (49th from the penalty spot) completed their tally.
It was reported that due to the continuous inclement weather that has inundated most of the grounds in the community, the game between New Silver City and Harmony Secondary was postponed and set to play yesterday, at the Bayroc Community Centre ground.
