Akeila Wiltshire, daughter of former Caribbean star, Garfield Wiltshire, showed that squash is not just about skill but also focus and perseverance.
After Ben Mekdeci made quick work out of her to snatch the first at 11-3 and although barely losing the second game at 13-11, the calm Wiltshire managed to regroup and procure control of the match up. With tactical play and swift reflexes she was able to capitalise on all loose shots she was given, dealing with them appropriately with her effective drops, led to her winning the following three games to become the dominant player in her group.
