A narrow escape from the drink
The occupants of this Toyota Titan are thanking their lucky stars for surviving this horrific mishap, which occurred on the La Bonne Intention Public Road, East Coast Demerara yesterday.
Eyewitness said that the driver of the Titan swerved to avoid a collision with an oncoming car which was driven by a man who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
The driver said that he bailed out when the vehicle began to topple. He could have been pinned.
The other passenger had to be helped out of the vehicle as the cabin submerged.
