Contractor Ramzan Ali Khan won a $1 million contract for works on the bridge along the Henrietta Public Road. He started and completed the programme on January 25, last — within one day.
That road deteriorated a mere two weeks after it was surfaced. The work was substandard.
And there has been no talk about a penalty.
Drivers who frequent the thoroughfare are complaining that it continues to damage their vehicles by way of the numerous pot holes. Consequently, many of them have complained of having to use an alternative road aback of the Anna Regina Fire Station.
