All Star with 80 games emerged champions of the Mohamed Mc Bill memorial Domino competition when the final was played last Sunday at Amit Ramnarine’s residence in Good Success, Wakenaam.
Seawall boys placed second with 70 games, while Eastern Wakenaam came third with 67.
Anand Dinban made a maximum 18 games for the winners while Vinood Ramadeen chalked 15 games for the runner up team and Egbert Johnson scored 14 for Eastern Wakenaam.
Dinban collected the man of the match award while the love birds were Mohamed Kalam of All Star and Andrew Osborne of Seawall Boys.
All Star received the winning trophy and Seawall boys the runner up prize, while Eastern Wakenaam took the third place trophy.
At the presentation ceremony chief Steward Moses Ramnarine congratulated the winning team and thanked the sponsors for coming on board.
Safraz Sheriffuddin, who sponsored the competition on behalf of his late grandfather Mohamed Mc Bill, said it will be an annual event. (Zaheer Mohamed)
