…last seen leaving school on Friday
“Where ever you are, please make contact…please come home, everybody loves and miss you.”
Those were the words of Fayann Wellington, the mother of 16-year-old Felicia Lonck who has been missing ever since Friday last.
The teen who hails from 13 Evans Phillips Park, in Agricola, East Bank Demerara was last seen by friends when she left school at about 16:00 hrs on Friday last.
Lonck was at the time wearing her school uniform.
She attends the Nehemiah Comprehensive School which is located in Forshaw Street, Georgetown.
The teen would usually use public transportation (mini bus) to get home in the afternoons after school.
Wellington said that this is the first time something like this has happened, adding that there were no problems in the home that would have caused her daughter to disappear, without telling her.
The teachers at the missing girl’s school also said that they were not aware of any problems that the teenager may be facing.
Her mother said that as far as she is aware, Felicia does not have a boyfriend but she does know of a female acquaintance with whom her daughter was close and she has not seen her either.
The matter has been reported to the police and anyone knowing the whereabouts of Felicia Lonck is asked to contact telephone numbers: 233-0155, 696-3257, 623-7831, 618-6767 or the nearest police station.
