After several aborted attempts, the executives of the Guyana Association of Scrabble Players (GASP) have finally decided to hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) this Sunday March 6 at the Malteenoes Sports Club starting at 10:00hrs.
According to the incumbent President, Moen Gafoor, “The long awaited AGM can finally go ahead after months of waiting.” Mr. Gafoor explained that the treasurer is in receipt of the audited financial report, paving the way for the meeting to go ahead. He further advised that only members that are financially up to date will be allowed to vote.
The deadline for such matters has been extended up to tomorrow and the treasurer will be at Malteenoes Sports Club until 10:00pm to facilitate the process. Otherwise, affiliates are advised that they could contact Mr. Colin Chichester on telephone numbers 621 8176; 227 8662 or 225 8812.
