Floodlight XI scored a record highest 343 runs against Shattaville last Wednesday in the Over-40 category of the Stag Beer & El Dorado Rum Nationwide Softball Tournament.
Ricky Deonarain slammed 120no and Tulshi Sahadeo 112 no, featuring in an unbroken 220 runs partnership. They were well supported by Richard Persaud 95, as they hit the ball to all parts of Bourda Ground. Shattaville were restricted to 206 for 9 off 25 overs. Latchman Bharat made 88 no, while Ramchand Ragbeer took 4 for 39.
Other centuries were made by Jagdesh Persaud 108, Murphy Ramnauth 142, Mark Harold 111, Aftab Bacchus 102, Vivian Bissoon 102 and Ramo Malone 100.
