New President and General Secretary to be elected
The Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) will hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday March 19, 2011 at Olympic House, High Street commencing at 14:30hrs.
Current President, former national cyclist Hector Edwards and General Secretary Carmen Pertab will not be seeking re-election according to a release issued by Public Relations Officer Julian Alves.
Meanwhile, all affiliated clubs are reminded that their affiliation fees must be paid prior to the AGM in order for them to be eligible to participate.

Cavaliers make strong start in GCB 3-day final
New Line Cavaliers made a commanding start in the Guyana Cricket Board 3-day final against Georgetown Cricket Club at Bourda yesterday.
GCC won the toss and sent Cavaliers into bat, and Cavaliers closed on day 323 for 6 with Gajanand Singh hitting 106 (9×4 1×6) and A. Ifill 79 (7×4 1×6) as the pair shared in a 187 run second wicket partnership. Avinash Sookdeo made 46, while Paul Wintz 19* and Budhan Baksh 22* were the batsmen at the wicket. Bowling for GCC Raj Nannan took 4-59.
